Walter Cruz is a sculptor whose practice gives memory a physical form. His work centers on concrete/cement as a material for preserving moments, stories, and meaning, using casting to transform memories into objects you can hold. For KRAFTED, he opened up that process to the community through Remembrance Through Concrete, teaching participants how to cast a one-of-a-kind keepsake by hand.
